Construction Dumpster Rental across Douglas County and the south metro
A job site does not make one kind of waste. Demolition comes out heavy — concrete, block, brick, tile — then framing and drywall come out light and bulky, then the finish phase is packaging and offcuts. We size each phase on its own: a 10 loaded level for the heavy stuff, a 30 or 40 for the bulk, and a swap schedule so the crew never waits on a full box. Most Parker contractors use a 20 for remodels and a 30 or 40 for new construction and demolition.
In Colorado the state rule that catches people out is asbestos. Every demolition needs an asbestos inspection by a Colorado-certified inspector and a CDPHE Demolition Notification at least 10 working days before work starts — houses included — and concrete or wood with asbestos floor tile or mastic on it cannot be recycled. A clean, separated load and a box sized for the weight both keep the job on budget. The Parker permit guide covers the paperwork.

Demolition, framing, roofing and finish
Demolition debris is where the weight is. Concrete, block, brick, asphalt and tile go in 10 yards loaded level, because a 30 heaped with rubble is more than the truck can safely haul and more than any allowance covers. Framing and drywall go in 20s and 30s. Shingle roofs go in a 10, 15 or 20 depending on the size of the roof and the layers coming off.
Asbestos is a state matter. CDPHE requires a Colorado-certified asbestos inspection before any demolition, and a Demolition Notification filed at least 10 working days ahead — even if no asbestos is found — with a fee of $50 plus $5 per 1,000 square feet. Unlike the federal rule, Colorado's covers single-family homes. Renovations count too: on a house, disturbing more than 50 linear feet of pipe, 32 square feet of other surfaces or a 55-gallon drum's worth of suspect material means an inspection first. Asbestos never goes in a roll-off. We will ask what the building is before we quote a demo job.
Job-site placement and the Town of Parker
On a private lot we place where the driver can reach it and the crew can load it. A demolition in Parker needs a Town building permit, applied for online through eTRAKiT (Building Division, 303.841.1970), on top of the CDPHE steps. Parker bans construction equipment between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. on weekdays, before 8 a.m. on Saturdays and before 10 a.m. on Sundays and holidays (Code 6.03.060), so we time drops and swaps around it. Elsewhere: unincorporated Douglas County charges $47 per structure for a Demolition Permit, with an evaluation form first; Lone Tree's demolition permit is $100; Castle Pines licenses demolition contractors at $75 a year; and Littleton's demolition submittal needs the State demolition approval and a debris hauling route.

Construction dumpster rental — the local specifics
Several towns put construction debris in writing. Greenwood Village wants a trash-retaining receptacle on site before construction starts, with trash put in it by 6 p.m. each day (Sec. 18-1-60). Aurora's code makes construction and demolition sites keep litter in check and lets the City ask for proof of final disposal at an authorized facility (Sec. 114-34). Castle Rock requires owners and contractors to provide refuse containers on a construction site (8.20.020), and in its Historic Downtown, demolishing a pre-1945 building goes to a Historic Preservation Board hearing and a Town Council decision. Kiowa's code treats leftover construction materials — plaster, broken concrete, bricks, wood, roofing — as a nuisance if they accumulate (Sec. 7-52). In Centennial, a dumpster on a residential lot tied to a City building permit can stay for the job and must go within 7 days of the work finishing (Sec. 7-5-40). Every town page quotes the section.

Answers
Construction Dumpster Rental — your questions answered
Do you do swap-outs?
Yes. We pull the full container and drop an empty. Most multi-week jobs set up ongoing swaps at the start, and contractors with several sites can pre-book rotations.
Can I mix concrete with other debris?
You can, but it costs you. Concrete fills the weight allowance long before the box looks full, so we usually run a 10 for rubble alongside a bigger box for the rest. A clean concrete or asphalt load is also the one most likely to be recycled.
Can you deliver to a site with no address yet?
Yes — give us the nearest cross streets and a site contact, and we will coordinate placement with your site manager before the truck goes out.
Do I need a permit for a container on a Parker job site?
Not for the container on your own lot, as far as the Town's published code and permit pages say. You need a Town building permit for demolition, the CDPHE asbestos inspection and 10-working-day Demolition Notification, and a Street Occupancy Permit if the box will sit in the Town right-of-way for more than 24 hours. On Parker Road, a state highway, CDOT has its own permit. We flag it when you book.
Which towns restrict construction haulers?
Englewood requires a City licence to haul trash for pay, and its code counts construction materials, scrap wood and metal as trash — we are licensed in the towns that require it. Parker, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, Centennial, Greenwood Village and Littleton show no hauler licence in their codes. Each town page says what that town's code says, and we tell you straight when you call.

We run roll-off containers out of the Dransfeldt Road yard to every town below. Parker and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the area are more often next-day. A few towns license the haulers that work inside their limits, and several keep containers off the street — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
