The 15 yard container in Parker
The 15 yard is the step up from the 10 when the job is one big room rather than one small one. Kitchen and bathroom remodels are the classic fit — cabinets, countertops, vanities, tile and the drywall behind them — and so is a carpet or flooring change-out, a small deck or fence coming down, a garage, attic or basement cleanout that turned out bigger than expected, or a yard cleanup. It holds about four to five pickup loads, or 80 to 100 trash bags.
At about 16 feet long it fits most driveways around Parker without blocking the garage, and the low sidewalls make loading over the side safer. If you are between a 10 and a 20 and the stuff is light and bulky, this is usually where you land.
Kitchens, floors, decks and yards
A kitchen makes more debris than people expect: by the time the cabinets, the backsplash and the subfloor are out, a 10 is tight and a 15 is right. Flooring jobs are the same — carpet, pad, laminate and tile. Light and medium roofing jobs fit too; tell us the roof and how many layers are coming off and we will check the weight before you book.
Backyard jobs fit as well — a small deck or fence, shrubs and branches, a landscape refresh. Break long boards down so they load flat. If more than half the load is tile, plaster or concrete, call us — the 10 yard may be the better weight call.
Weight on a 15 yard
Two to three tons — about 4,000 to 6,000 pounds — is included, depending on the material. Flooring, tile, plaster, roofing and wet yard waste add up fast, so for a heavy job we estimate the weight from your roof size, flooring square footage or material list and tell you up front whether it fits. Cabinets, drywall and carpet never get near the line. Do not mix concrete or dirt in with household junk without checking with us first.
Suitability
Is the 15 yard the right size for you?
Rough working figures. Weight, not volume, is what usually decides.
Choose the 15 yard for
- Kitchen or bath remodel including cabinets and counters
- Multi-room, garage, attic or basement cleanouts
- Flooring, carpet and drywall replacement
- Small deck and fence removals
- Branches, shrubs, leaves and landscaping debris
Pick a different size for
- Whole-house renovation — go to the 20 or 30
- Loads that are mostly tile, plaster or concrete (weight — use a 10 loaded level)
- Dirt mixed into household junk or green waste unless we have approved it
- Paint, chemicals, oil, propane tanks, tires, batteries, electronics or asbestos
Placing a 15 yard container on a Parker-area property
It needs a flat, stable spot about 16 feet long and 7.5 feet wide, about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck, and about 25 feet of clearance overhead — no low power lines or branches. On your own driveway or lot in Parker we found no Town permit for a roll-off; in the Town right-of-way, a dumpster that stays more than 24 hours needs a Street Occupancy Permit through eTRAKiT — call Engineering and Public Works at 303.840.9546 first. Other towns have their own rules — Castle Pines charges $370 for a 90-day street permit, Aurora does not allow dumpsters on the public street, and Centennial limits a driveway dumpster to 7 days without a building permit. Check your HOA too: covenants can cover containers in driveways. Boards go under the dumpster on request. Each town page covers its own code.

15 Yard Dumpster — questions we get asked
How big is a 15 yard dumpster?
About 16 feet long, 7.5 feet wide and 4.5 feet high. It fits most driveways around Parker and still gives you four to five pickup loads of room — roughly 80 to 100 trash bags.
Will it fit in my driveway?
Most driveways have room for its 16 feet. The truck needs about 60 feet of clear approach and about 25 feet clear overhead. If you live in a subdivision with an HOA, check its covenants on containers before you book — in Highlands Ranch, HRCA wants a call at 303-471-8821 with your address and dates.
Can I keep it longer than a week?
Yes. The standard rental is up to 7 days and extensions are a low daily rate — just call or text before the scheduled pickup. Centennial is the exception to plan around: without a City building permit, a driveway dumpster can stay only 7 consecutive days.
What is the weight limit?
Two to three tons — about 4,000 to 6,000 pounds — is included, depending on what is going in. Dense material like shingles, tile or wet yard waste can push past that, so tell us what it is and we will estimate it on the phone.

We run roll-off containers out of the Dransfeldt Road yard to every town below. Parker and the closest towns are often same-day; the edges of the area are more often next-day.
