Dumpster Rental Cost in Parker: What a Flat Rate Covers

The honest answer is that we quote every job flat, by phone, for your address and your material. The useful answer is what goes into that number and what moves it. Here is the arithmetic we do before we give it.

Dumpster Rental Cost in Parker: What a Flat Rate Covers

The typical range, and why we quote by phone

Dumpster rental in Parker typically ranges from $350 to $750. Where a job lands depends on four things: the dumpster size, the type of debris, the delivery location and the rental duration. A 10 yard averages $350 to $550, depending on your location and debris type. The flat rate covers delivery and pickup, disposal fees, a standard rental period of 3 to 7 days and the weight allowance for your size. There are no hidden fuel surcharges or environmental fees — what we quote is what you pay.

We quote by phone rather than post a price list because the two things that decide the number — what is going in and how far the truck runs — change from job to job. A 15 yard of carpet in Lone Tree and a 10 yard of broken patio in Kiowa are different jobs at the gate and on the road. Call (720) 964-2184 with the address and the material and you will have a firm number before you hang up.

Where the number comes from: disposal

The biggest cost inside any flat rate is disposal. Douglas County lists three landfills for its residents: the Sedalia Landfill, the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site (DADS) and the Colorado Springs Landfill. DADS, at 3500 S. Gun Club Road in Aurora, is about 11 road miles from our yard. It is owned by the City and County of Denver and operated by WM, and it takes construction and demolition debris, household trash, clean soils and yard waste. It does not accept hazardous or liquid waste, and appliances, tires and electronic waste are taken only at an additional charge. Its hours are Monday to Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., closed Sunday.

None of the landfill operators near Parker publish their gate rates, so we do not quote them. What we can say is the shape of the cost: the cleaner and more sorted the load, the less it costs to dispose of, and banned items cost extra to deal with. That is why we ask what is going in.

The things that move it

Weight. The flat rate includes a stated allowance — about 1–2 tons on a 10 yard, 2–3 on a 15, 3–4 on a 20, 4–5 on a 30 and 5–6 on a 40. Concrete, dirt and tile use it up fast, which is why we take them only in a 10 or 15 and tell you where the line is before you load. Over it, we weigh the container and apply a low-cost overage fee.

Days. The standard rental period is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? Call and we extend it at a small daily or weekly rate. Finish early and we pick up early.

Distance. Delivery location is part of every quote. From our yard on Dransfeldt Road, approximate road miles to the middle of each place are: Parker Town Hall about 2, Foxfield 5, Lone Tree 7, Centennial 10, Franktown 11, Highlands Ranch 12, Castle Pines and Greenwood Village 13, Castle Rock 15, Aurora 17 (south Aurora is closer), Littleton and Sedalia 18, Englewood and Elizabeth 19, Kiowa 27, and Larkspur and Roxborough Park 28. Approximate figures, but they explain why the far runs can cost a little more.

What the do-it-yourself options cost

For a small job, hauling it yourself may be cheaper. For anything bigger, the per-load charges and the trips add up:

OptionPublished chargeNotes
Sedalia Transfer Site (Douglas County, 5761 Peterson Rd)$45 a level pickup load, $55 above the bed, $65 to the roof line; $27 a cubic yard non-compactableResidential waste and light construction materials; Monday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; no credit cards
Douglas County GreenWorks slash and yard waste, SedaliaNo charge listedDouglas County residents only, covered loads, no contractor drop-offs; no stumps, roots, lumber, dirt or construction debris
Lone Tree bulky items (Waste Connections)Paid by the resident; price not publishedBy special arrangement only
Greenwood Village Large Item PickupProvided to eligible households; no price listedNo roofing, drywall, fences, decks, concrete, landscaping materials or permitted-project debris
Larkspur Town dumpFree to Town residentsRemote from Town Hall; no concrete, rocks, mattresses, tires or electronics

A dozen pickup loads at the transfer site is $540 or more before fuel and the afternoons, which is where one roll-off usually wins.

Permit fees — published and not

None of these change our flat rate, but they can add to the cost of a job. A street dumpster in Castle Pines is $370 for the first 90 days and $185 for each 30-day extension. Centennial's residential street dumpster permit is $50 a month, and only for HOAs and groups of five or more neighbors. Aurora's Temporary Use Permit application is $85.25. Parker's Street Occupancy Permit fee and Lone Tree's dumpster permit fee are not published. Englewood charges per linear foot per day for lane occupancy — $3.50 for a parking lane — though the City does not say whether that applies to a homeowner dumpster permit. Demolition permits sit with the owner: Lone Tree $100, unincorporated Douglas County $47 per structure, and the state demolition notice $50 plus $5 per 1,000 square feet.

Getting it wrong costs more. Castle Rock can remove a container from the right-of-way and bill the owner, with fines up to $300; Englewood lists a $500 administrative penalty for working without a permit; Parker's fee sheet lists $1,000 for right-of-way work without a permit.

Where the money hides

The most expensive container is the heavy one that should have been two. A slab, a shingle roof and a kitchen in one 30 yard is far past its allowance; a 10 of concrete plus a 20 of everything else stays inside both. Banned items cost money too — tires, batteries, paint, used oil, electronics and appliances with refrigerant do not belong in the box; the what-goes-in guide says where each goes instead. Never load above the rim: an overfilled box cannot be hauled. And in Centennial, a driveway dumpster for work without a building permit may stay only 7 consecutive days, so plan the job to fit.

Dumpster or junk removal — and getting a quote

For anything beyond a couple of pickup loads, a container you load yourself is usually the better value, because you are paying for the box rather than the hours. For a single sofa or a cleanout with nobody to lift, our junk removal crew may suit you better. Call (720) 964-2184 — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We offer same-day or next-day delivery in most areas around Parker, depending on availability; call before noon for the best chance of same-day. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and payment is made when your booking is confirmed to secure your delivery slot.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to rent a dumpster in Parker?

Typically $350 to $750, depending on size, debris type, delivery location and rental duration. A 10 yard averages $350 to $550. We quote each job flat by phone for your address.

What is included in a flat rate?

Delivery, pickup, disposal fees, a 3 to 7 day standard rental period and the weight allowance for your size. Extra days and weight over the allowance are the only additions, and both are explained before you load.

Is it cheaper to haul it myself to the Sedalia Transfer Site?

For a load or two, maybe. Douglas County lists $45 to $65 per pickup load there, Monday and Saturday only, no credit cards. Past a handful of loads, a roll-off usually costs less in money and time.

Does it cost more outside Parker?

Delivery location is part of the quote, so the far runs — Kiowa, Larkspur and Roxborough Park are 27 to 28 road miles from our yard — can cost a little more. Any town permit fee is separate.
