Parker, CO Dumpster Rental: The Complete Guide

Why rent a dumpster?

Whether you are renovating, clearing out a garage, replacing a roof or running a job site, a roll-off puts all the debris in one place instead of trip after trip in the pickup. The payoff is a faster cleanup, a safer site and a rental period that fits your schedule. Remodels in particular make more debris than people expect — drywall, cabinets, flooring and fixtures do not fit in a curbside cart — and roof tear-offs, estate cleanouts, landscaping and demolition all fill a box quicker than a trailer.

How a roll-off rental works

You call, tell us about the job and the address, and pick a size with our help. You get a flat price that covers delivery, pickup and disposal up to a stated weight allowance, for a standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. We deliver — usually the same or next day — to your driveway, a job site, a commercial property or a parking lot. You fill it at your own pace, keeping debris below the top rim, and call when you are done. As long as we know where to place it, you do not need to be home. Our yard is at 10270 S Dransfeldt Rd, about 1.8 road miles from Parker Town Hall on Mainstreet, so most of Parker is a short run.

Choosing a size

Start with the job, then check the weight. A 10 yard, about 14 feet long, suits small remodels, roof tear-offs, single-room cleanouts and heavy material. A 15, about 16 feet, suits garage, attic and basement cleanouts, flooring and carpet, and yard waste. The 20, 30 and 40 share a 22-foot footprint and get taller: the 20 for kitchen and bath remodels, whole-home cleanouts, roofing and landscaping — our most popular size; the 30 for multi-room renovations, estate cleanouts and office remodels; the 40 for construction, demolition and commercial roofing. Included weight runs from about 1–2 tons on a 10 to 5–6 tons on a 40. The sizing guide has the full table.

Who collects trash in Parker

Not the Town. Parker says "Recycling (as well as general trash disposal) is not a service provided by the Town of Parker," and for trash pickup it points residents to private companies or their homeowners' association. Douglas County does not provide curbside pickup either. So weekly service in Parker is whatever your HOA contracts or you subscribe to, and there is no Town bulk-item pickup. For slash and yard waste, the Town sends residents to Douglas County GreenWorks at 5675 Delva Way in Sedalia, open Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for County residents, with no contractor drop-offs. GreenWorks also runs free household hazardous waste and electronics drop-off for County residents by appointment (303-660-7480).

That is why a roll-off is the normal answer for a remodel, a roof, a move-out or a construction site in Parker.

Placement and permits in Parker

On your own driveway we found no Town permit for a roll-off. In the street, the Town requires a Street Occupancy Permit for a dumpster in the right-of-way for more than 24 hours, filed on eTRAKiT through Engineering and Public Works (303.840.9546); the fee is not published, and the Town's manual says dumpsters need specific Town approval to sit in the right-of-way at all. Under House Bill 22-1139, an HOA cannot prohibit use of the public right-of-way in line with applicable laws — but it can still set rules for your driveway, so check your covenants. The box needs a flat, stable surface; keep it off grass, soft soil and septic systems, and we lay boards on driveways when needed. The permit guide covers the other 16 places we serve.

Demolition and asbestos

Colorado's asbestos rules cover single-family homes, which federal rules generally do not. Before any demolition, CDPHE requires an inspection by a Colorado-certified asbestos inspector and a demolition notice to the state at least 10 working days before work starts — even if no asbestos is found — with a fee of $50 plus $5 per 1,000 square feet. Renovations that disturb more than the trigger amounts need the inspection too; for a single-family home that is 50 linear feet on pipes, 32 square feet on other surfaces, or the volume of a 55-gallon drum. In Parker, demolition also needs a Town building permit through the Building Division (303.841.1970). Asbestos never goes in a standard roll-off. The renovation guide goes through it step by step.

Where the loads go

We haul to permitted landfills such as the Denver Arapahoe Disposal Site (DADS) at 3500 S. Gun Club Road in Aurora, about 11 road miles from the yard. Operated by WM, it takes construction and demolition debris, household trash, clean soils and yard waste, and does not accept hazardous or liquid waste. Douglas County also lists the Sedalia Landfill and the Colorado Springs Landfill for its residents. We work with local recycling and disposal facilities, and whenever possible metal, concrete and yard waste are recycled instead of dumped.

Outside the Town line

The rules change fast once you leave Parker. Castle Rock bars containers in the street and the front-yard setback without Town approval; Castle Pines permits street dumpsters for $370 per 90 days; Lone Tree issues dumpster right-of-way permits through Public Works; Highlands Ranch is driveway-only with a call to HRCA. Centennial limits permit-free driveway dumpsters to 7 days; Aurora does not allow them on the street at all; Englewood requires a City trash hauling licence — which we hold — and offers a homeowner street permit. Littleton homeowners pick their own hauler; Foxfield, next door, uses Town-arranged Republic carts; Elizabeth is one of the fastest-growing towns we serve, from 1,675 people in 2020 to an estimated 2,957 in 2025. Each place has its own page — see the service area.

What goes in, what stays out

In: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, roofing shingles, yard clippings and branches, small appliances, and concrete or dirt in a 10 or 15. Out, by Colorado law: lead-acid batteries, liquids, used oil, waste tires and electronics. Out of our boxes as well: paint, solvents and oils, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste and asbestos. Fridges, freezers and AC units need the refrigerant handled first, so arrange those in advance. The full guide says where each goes instead.

Loading, pickup and booking

Load evenly and keep everything below the rim — an overfilled dumpster cannot be hauled. Spread heavy material across the floor rather than at one end, and break down big items. Keep the path clear for pickup. Call before the pickup date if you need more time; we extend at a small daily or weekly rate, and can swap a full box mid-project.

To book, call (720) 964-2184, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Have the address, the material and a rough quantity ready, and call before noon for the best chance of same-day delivery. You will have a flat price before you hang up, and payment by credit or debit card secures the delivery slot.
